With our origins at Watergate Bay Hotel on Cornwall’s north coast – land&water founder Pix Ashworth’s family’s hotel – the land&water collection has evolved from years witnessing the joyful “warm glow” radiating from guests after days swimming, surfing or walking on the beach.
This blend of elemental invigoration and the happy, relaxed, calm that guests feel on holiday is at the heart of the land&water collection. Our products – which include essential bathroom amenities like hand wash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner – capture that emotion with a blend of buoyant, exhilarating citrus and serene, green and woody notes.
These hospitality roots, informed by over 50 years in the industry, give land&water an insight that can take years to develop. “We understand hospitality’s day-to-day practicalities; how guests interact with products in these spaces, the differing requirements, and pain points hospitality teams can be up against,” explains Pix. “From wellbeing welcome gifts (like our pulse point oils), to bespoke powder-coated wall mounts, to hyper-responsive customer service and short lead times, we can anticipate what’s important to hospitality operators.”
land&water has prioritised sustainability from the outset, and we’re committed to treading as lightly as possible on the natural world that has so inspired us. All our products are made in small batches in the British Isles, using 100% vegan and ethical ingredients, and come in glass jars and 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. 90% of our packaging is made in the UK, and our 5L refills are now available to both trade and consumer customers, as part of our focus on minimising packaging waste.
